JMC on Tuesday 03rd April 2022 join the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s edition of World Press Freedom Day with theme: Journalism under Surveillance.
According to a notice to JMC staff and students by the Head of department, Prof. Kingsley L. Ngange, this day will be remarked with a conference that will start from 8am-11am at Dorothy Limunga Njeuma Amphitheatre (amphi 750), UB with guests speakers: Mr. Eno Chris Owen (Seasoned Journalist with the public sector in Cameroon), Mr. Arison Tamfu (Seasoned Journalist with the private media in Cameroon).
Awards will be allotted to deserving persons from 11am-12pm,followed by a football match between JMC vs CAMASEJ from 1pm-3pm. Then a gala evening at Las Vegas- Molyko will be the style to end the celebration.
